Lua - Mi Sangre

Hi! My name is Jessenia Lua and I like to write. I’ve had a few published articles at my former university’s newspaper and I’ve also had some of my poetry published as well. Normally, I like to write from inspiration but I often write about other day-to-day issues like religion, family, God, political issues, etc. I am nowhere near a Conservative. In fact, I think I’m more Liberal than Liberal! Maybe too Liberal. Does that make sense? Anyway, I decided to create this blog after my cousin Agustin (also known as Chino) and I had a conversation about some of the stuff I’ve already written about in my other blog. You see, for people who know me, I write a lot about my family. I always say that I am truly blessed to have them and how much they inspire me. I’ve written a couple articles about my late brother Salvador “Chava” Lua and my late father Rafael Lua. I like to write about them because it helps me cope with their death. I’ve always said that one day I will write a book about my family. I especially want to write about my mother. Writing geniuses could not invent the stuff that she comes up with! With the help of my cousin Chino and my other family members, I will include the good, the bad, and the ugly. Because without those three topics, it won’t be a story. So sit back, relax, grab a coffee or tea, and watch me unfold my family’s story on this blog.
